SBI Junior Associate Eligibility Criteria 2025

1. Nationality

• The job seeker applying must be an Indian citizen.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025)

• Minimum Age: 20 years

• Maximum Age: 28 years

Age Relaxation:

• OBC: +3 years

• SC/ST: +5 years

• PwBD (General/EWS): +10 years

• PwBD (OBC): +13 years

• PwBD (SC/ST): +15 years

• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (max 50 years)

• Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (Gen/EWS), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)

3. Educational Qualification (as on 31.12.2025)

• A graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

• Final-year students can apply, but they must produce proof of graduation on or before 31.12.2025.

• EXSMs with 15 years of service and special certificates are also eligible

Selection Process

The selection process includes:

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

• Duration: 1 hour

• Total Marks: 100

• Sections:

  1. English Language – 30 Questions, 30 Marks, 20 min

  2. Numerical Ability – 35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 min

  3. Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 min

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Phase II – Main Examination

• Duration: 2 hr 40 min

• Total Marks: 200

• Sections:

  1. General/Financial Awareness – 50 Questions, 50 Marks, 35 min

  2. General English – 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 35 min

  3. Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Questions, 50 Marks, 45 min

Phase III – Local Language Test

• This test shall be conducted for candidates who have not studied the local language in Class 10th or 12th.
