Educational Qualification:  Applicants who want to apply for the post of Punjab Education Recruitment Board PTI Teacher Recruitment 2025 must possess the following educational qualifications:

For PTI Teacher:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate).

• Should possess a 2-year Diploma or Certificate in Physical Education, such as D.P.Ed. or C.P.Ed. (or any other equivalent course).

• Must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.

For PRT Teacher:

• Graduation Degree
• Diploma in Education (Special Education) [D.Ed. (Spl. Ed.)] Or
• Any equivalent qualification approved by the University/RCI + must have a certificate of equivalency issued by the university as per UGC/RCI guidelines + valid RCI registration

For TGT Teacher:

• Degree with at least 55% marks
• B.Ed. (Special Education) from an RCI-recognized university + valid RCI registration Or
• B.Ed. (General) + D.Ed. (Special Education) or its equivalent from RCI-recognized university + valid RCI registration Or
• Passed B.Ed. (General) + Post Graduate Professional Diploma (Special Education) or its equivalent from RCI-recognized university + valid RCI registration or
• Any equivalent qualification approved by the University/RCI + certificate of equivalency from the university + valid RCI registration.

Candidates need to pass 3 out of 5 physical activities listed below:

Sports Achievement Weightage:

• Grade A: 30 Marks

• Grade B: 25 Marks

• Grade C: 10 Marks

• Grade D: 5 Marks

🔹 Candidates under the sports quota will be governed by the Punjab Sportsmen Recruitment Rules, 1988.
