Assam Police has published notification of Assam Police Recruitment of Unarmed Branch/ Armed Branch Constable Posts. This is good news for all the govt job seekers who were waiting for the police department vacancies for a very long time.

The department has invited online applications for filling up these total 6662 posts of UB/ AB Constable. Eligible applicants can apply from 23.12.2019 on-wards till 06.01.2020.

No. of Vacancies: 6662

• Unarmed Branch: 2391 Posts (1851+540)
• Armed Branch: 4271 Posts (3643+628)

Educational Qualification: HS or Class 12th passed for the Unarmed Branch and HSLC or Class 10th passed for the Armed Branch

 

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years. Age Relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category candidates like SC, ST, OBC, and others as per the rules mentioned in the official notification.

• General: Born between 1st July 1994 to 1st July 2001
• OBC/ MOBC: Born between 1st July 1991 to 1st July 2001
• ST/ SC: Born between 1st July 1989 to 1st July 2001

Salary: Rs.14000 – Rs.49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
